Pilots Implementation
A Journey For Testing, validating and learning
23rd to 25th MAY 2023
The pilot initiative within the project serves as a pivotal testing ground for innovative educational methodologies aimed at bridging the divide between academic learning and real-world application.
Preceding the pilot, a comprehensive staff training program was conducted in Santander from May 23rd to May 25th, 2024, organized by CISE, one of the project partners.
Armed with the resulting insights, educators were well-equipped to guide students through the pilot initiatives, which were subsequently organized at each partner university during the first semester of the academic year 23/24.
These initiatives, characterized by meticulously structured activities and challenges, offered students valuable opportunities to apply theoretical concepts to real-world scenarios, fostering critical thinking, problem-solving skills, and an entrepreneurial mindset.
By empowering both faculty members and students with the tools and insights necessary to navigate the complexities of the contemporary professional landscape, the project aims to enhance the quality and relevance of the learning experience, ultimately preparing students for success in their future careers.

Result highlights
At the conclusion of each pilot, an extensive evaluation process was undertaken to gather feedback and observations from a diverse array of respondents.
- 44 pilots conducted across four partner universities
- ~ 1000 student participants
- Brainstorming, case studies, challenge based learning, and collaborative learning were the most often used facilitation techniques
- All professors and researchers implementing pilots would repeat the experience in future lectures
- Across the board (students, educators, and business), problem solving was considered the most important skill in the workplace.
